Can Not load custom map in ICO

so i have a custom map i made, gave the map to my friend and he installed in in the Galaxy Dir, as did i (we can both play the game in Single Player mode)   when i try to host a game, he logs into it for a second, then gets kicked while it tells him "you do not have the neccessary game files for this this game"  we have no mods running, and non-custom maps work just fine.

How do you play a custom map online?

How did you make the map (in-game customizer or Galaxy Forge) and which Folder did he put it in (the one where the game itself is, or the one under Users\App Data\...)?

i used Galaxey Forge to make the map. the map was put into the Install Dir (C:/Programfiles/ect) not the User or Doc pathway. Both of us can play the map in single player, but we cant not play it across ICO

Are you sure then that you both have the same version of the game and neither of you has modified anything at all? You might try reinstalling on both machines just to be sure.

I would also make sure you both have the map in the same Galaxy folder. There's the one for the main SoSE game and another one with personal settings (in the same place the Mods are located). If they're in not in the same one, I'd imagine the game would have issues.

And make sure that neither of you have changed the map in any way. I would also check the time stamp and file size for the map's file.

Barring that, I have no idea. Sorry.

yes, we both have the same version, the same map, in the same location, with no mods active.
