Black Market

Offerring Goods to other Players

So in SINS on the black market screen, a player has the ability to "Offer resources to other players" (buttons at the very bottom). But what does this do? For example, I had lots of extra metal, instead of just selling it all, I used those buttons to "put it on the market". I had 10K units of metal on the market, for 98% of market price, which was listed as the lowest. When I mouse over the button with 10000 written on it (for the amount of metal I had on the market) the tooltip said something about total cumilative offers being in the 32K range. But how do I access this money? Putting goods on the market does me no good if I get nothing for it...

you get your money when some of the other plays buy the offered resource from the black market, though you only get the credits for the amount of metal you sold, so when you offer 1000 metal and another player buys metal from the black market for a 3:1 ratio you get 300 credits and lose 100 metal, you can retransfer your metal back at any time so you don't lose anything when nobodys buying resources.

The method you are using doesn't sell stuff right away. Its a means to give you more control over how much money you get for selling a material.

If you wanted to get money now, you could sell it for 1/3 the buying price instead. You should see a sell button below the buy button.

Either way, you have to decide to either wait for someone to buy your resources, or to sell it now for the instant cash. Please note, its possible that a resource "Offered to other players" will not sell if there is no one who is going to buy the given type of resource. One of my recent games was against an AI who was selling crystal, thus making the crystal market crash, instead of buying the crystal I placed on the market.

Well some of the features of the game did change from beta to full release, and even from update to update. Don't be too surprised that some things did change.

Making resources avialable to be sold on the black market are of the ones that appeared when the game was released.
