Star Placement in Galaxy forge

I have two questions.

1.) Is there a way to manually adjust the Z axis of planets and stars?  I am trying to make a map that has only one  star, but has other stars within the one stars radious that the nearby planets are "orbiting."  However when you load the map the star appears way above or below the planets it's supose to be around.

2.)  Has anyone been able to turn the star into a planet?  not a cononizable one, but have it be an object like a gas cloud or somthing.  My goal is to have a map were there are multipl star systems, but the sytems are all connected by planets, not the stars.

There is a section in the create a galaxy (with notepad) tutorial that deals with the Z axis, and it's the only reference to it I have seen. I'd recommend a read through just for the background, it helps you see how GalForge uses it's data.

Connecting Star Systems is done with wormholes, I believe. There are other posts about this that go into pretty good detail including how to set them up.
