I love this game, but now I feel stupid as crap.

Well, I'm in Point Blank, and I've been there about 5 hours.  I've colonized every planet and destroyed every enemy ship.  Everyone's bustling, money's pouring in through trade routes, and there sits a huge planet-destroying cannon with nothing to do.  Everything's done.  How stupid am I that I don't even know how to, you know, FINISH THE LEVEL?

Someone just tell me and put me out of my misery.  Ughh....

Did you perhaps get the victory message and not know how it worked exactly and agree to keep playing? The game can tell you you've won before you get all the planets. If you click "OK" to keep playing, it will go on ... well,I don't know how long. I played until I was okay with saying good-bye to all my highly-ranked cap ships heh. ;)

Oh no... haha. I have no idea! I don't remember seeing any victory sign. The last thing I did was to destroy a manufactured pirate planet called something like Ahkmatos or something, it was showered with blue sparks, and now if I scroll all the way out, my icon is on every planet, the Sun is in the center, and that's it. Anyway to end the level manually? I've looked through every possible option, in my mind. If there's another star system, I haven't seen any evidence of it. Anyone else familiar with Point Blank? Thanks for the info, guys.

if u go to the quit menu see if the "surrender" option is still available. If it is not, you already won, and probly a lonnnggg time ago.

Okay, so the surrender option is gone... hahahaha... I swear, there was never any victory screen or anything. So, you just quit the level and leave the save in limbo? There's no indication anywhere, even at the level select screen, that I've beaten the level. Thanks again, though.

you dont "beat levels" in this game, once your opponents are dead that round is done. it gives you the option to continue after you have killed them though, so you can see how to expand your econ, whats higher on the tech tree, etc...

Sometimes, when the screen (and more specifically the button that says something akin to "play on") appears over something you were about to click, it disappears so quickly that you would never have known it was there if you weren't paying 100% attention. Happened to me a couple of times (though in multiplayer, so there were other clues that the game was over).

Oh my, I just took a look at point blank and made the mistake of setting the AI on hard. Tough game! My usual strategy doesn't work! I'm just coughing out ships as fast as metal and credits will let me, which isn't that often.
