Error on install [solved]

When attempting to install the download version via Stardock Central, the following error message appears at 50% complete:

There was an error installing Sins of a Solar Empire. The following error occurred: Move: C:\...\Sins of a Solar Empire\AppData\SetRegistryValue.vbs 0|0 Unknown|03/12/2008 09:00 Result: Installation failed (29) Would you like to view the installation log file? View log/Cancel

When clicking "View log", it opens Notepad, states that it can't find the file C:\...\SDCentral\installed\sin.log and asks if I would like to create a new file. I have tried uninstalling the demo and rebooting. I have also checked the registry as suggested in similar threads here, but didn't find a Stardock folder there. I run Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit on a laptop.

I just tried installing again, and it worked! Stardock Central did update itself half a dozen times while I was doing this, so that may have something to do with it.
