My Map makes sins not work

I created a custom map with Galaxy Forge. I saved as a galaxy file and put it in the galaxy folder with the other maps. Now when I start sins and go into singleplayer and select the map (just select not playing) the game crashes and it says there is a problem with the game please close it. When i put the map out of the folder everything works. So something is wrong with it. its 33 kbs and i have vista. Any ideas ???

There are 2 galaxy folders! Make sure you put it in the right one. The galaxy forge made maps should go into the folder within the Sins game folder (Like c:\program files\stardock\sins. The Map Designer maps go into the folder where your replays and save games are saved which is something along the lines of C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins\Galaxy. Im not at home so I cant tell you the exact folders, plus they vary depending on your installation preferences and Operating System.

Have you edited it by hand at all? Because if you have, and you make a mistake, it can cause crashes.

If not, can you post the map somewhere or send it to [email protected], we can take a look at it.

Thanks

Hi, I resolved the problem:

The map description was too long. It was like 4 lines. When i reduced it to 3 lines it worked. Maby you can fix that you can have more then 3 line descriptions ?
