Is SoaSE updated automatically

If you buy the game directly from stardock is it a case of the game receives updates automatically, or do I need to update the game myself?

Registering your serial with Stardock Central/Impulse (done automatically if you order directly from stardock) will tell you about game updates and give you the option to download and apply the updates without you needing to hunt down the download yourself.

So in short, yes there's automatic detection/updating, but it still asks you if you want to update :P
