Mods not appearing in mod list

I have installed several mods into the mod directory of my computer, but they still do not show up on the in-game menu. The path is thus:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods

And then, within the Mods Folder, I have the seperate uncompressed files for each mod, CrimsMod, More Hangar Space, and Action Mod.

Is there anything I should try?

Can you post a screenshot of your Mods folder please? It should have a folder for each mod, and each mod should have its own GameInfo, String, etc folders with the files.

It sounds like you don't have this folder structure? The game looks for folder names to display in the game mod selection, so it's the only thing I can think of. ;)

Just like this other person - You might have added the "Sub-folder" to the mod folder. Example:

Mods\Crimsmod\crimsmod\gameinfo

You need to remove the first folder and cut and paste the sub folder into the Mods directory.

If this does not tempt to work-

Be sure that the Zip files are not in the mods folder and only the mod with the Sub-folder removed.

And ...\CrimsMod\Strings

among other mods. None of the mods I have are showing up. I guess I can just wait for a later patch...

I realized something; if the mods are from the wrong version, will the game not register the mod's existence? What else can I try?

Well? I've tried mixing up the files and I still don't get any results. Does anyone get this problem? No matter how I install the files, I can't find any mods in the game mod activator.

It looks like your directory is wrong.

Vista:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods\

XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods\
