Takes forever to start

Long arse load up times

The first time I played the game, it loaded up fine, and it was fine. Now, when I try and load it up to play, it takes a good 10 minutes to load up, IF it even starts.  My system can handle it, no doubt about that, but it takes forever just from the time I open the shrtcut from my desktop, till the time the main menu shows up, IF it shows up.   Any solutions??

4 gigs ram
nvidia 7600
Pentium 4 CPU.

Are you running any mods? I've noticed mine takes longer to load when I've told certain mods to load on startup. But still, it's not as long as yours.

Might be a corrupted install if its not the mod issue(mod is most likely). Try uninstalling, running chkdsk, and installing again.(or if you want to try your luck just uninstall and install again, be sure to do BOTH and not just a reinstall).
