Sins 1.04 IS AWESOME!!!!

I LOVE YOU STARDOCK AND IRONCLAD!

As good as the initial release is, I hope people really notice just how good 1.04 is. Besides the improvements in balance, the computer AI is really quite challenging and intelligent!

What other games have this kind of support?! THANK YOU!

I have to agree. I've been playing games for a very long time, and I haven't ever seen a company be so dedicated. Of all the companies I have ever bought a game from, Stardock keeps up its support and listens to customers like every company should. EA/Dice claim to, but abandon patches every once in a while, or just stop patching games. LucasArts used to make legendary games with great community support, but as of the last few years has become a sad company, making mediocre games with horrible support. Their patches cause more problems than fix them.

I applaud Stardock on their work and hope they continue to be one of the better companies - I will most likely buy games from them in the future. The only other company I know of that tries its best to help the community and address problems is Crytek.

I'm liking it except after so many games it's becoming clear what strategies are dominant and making it bland. :(

I'm glad it's here and 1.03 is gone though. I just hope 1.1 isn't far off and balances the game even better.

1.4 finally lets me enjoy Vasari (because they nailed the particle disappearance bug). Of course I still appreciate the other tweaks made, the updated AI is alot more fun now.

Bring on 1.1 and the improved graphics options, I have an uber rig that needs to be pushed. ;)

Stardock has an (excuse the pun) ironclad reputation for doing this with their previous titles :D I even went so far as to buy two copies of GC because I want to support them so badly for it.

'Deeds, not words' is something I live my life by and greatly respect it when I see that methodology from other people. Astounded when I see it applied in business.

Thank you SD/IC!!!!! Your efforts are appreciated so much more than words here are going to be able to express.

I was rope-a-doped last night by the AI in 1.04. They bribed the pirates to attack me, when the pirates were active, they sent a fleet to attack one of my planets. As I was responding to that attack bby moving spacecraft to that area in support, I was surprised to discover it was a feint. The real attack from the AI with the majority of their fleet was taking place at a different area of the map! Nice. :)

A pleasant surprise.
