Registering/ serial number problems

Whenever I try to register my serial number it says it is wrong. what's going on? How do i fix it?

Dunno but mine is the same way. It keeps telling me that my email address is not the one associated with the serial number or something like that. That of course is wrong as I would not use another email address for such things. It is also the one I use for my Stardock and WC account. So I don't know what the deal is. I have tried to register through the game and SDC. No luck so I just let the game be and got the patch from another site. In this case FilePlanet.
