General Mod Folder?

Not one for each PC user?

I really like this game and I've also seen really awesome mods. But with the mods part I have a problem...

I have the 1.04 version of Sins Of A Solar Empire, I've downloaded two mods so far, one including many new planet types and one making all limits 10x as big as normal. The 10x mod isn't that big but the New Planet Types is, and to install the mod multiple times on the same computer makes it use up about 3 times more space then it should. (As there are 3 users here playing this game.)

Now my question is simple. Is there a way to install a mod only 1 time with allowing all users to active it for themselves?

The game is installed on the F: drive, the mods are installed on the overloaded C: drive making the computer slower. There is very little room left on the C drive and installing all mods 3 times will most likely kill it. (although I don't really know and might be exaggerating a bit...)

So is there any easy way to optimize a bit? If so please tell me how it would be really usefull.

:D

I suppose there isn't any way to do so. I thought I would get an answer fairly quickly in such crowded forums... Which is mostly the case. But since I see nothing here it appears to me that there isn't any way to install mods only 1 time instead of 3 times.

Yeah, if there was a way (and there isn't one) you would have gotten an answer pretty fast, I think. :/

Btw. for the problem, you can blame the stupid Games for Windows requirements MS made.

Microsoft just really screwed up the way users are used with XP.

But It's cool with the achievements and name being different for each user, thats very usefull. It's only the downloaded mods.

When I go to the ingame mod menu, it has a button showing me where the mods lead to.
Is there any way to edit that link? This way I think it could work, if it could be redirected.
