Domina Subjugators?

Does anyone have an effective use for these things? I built at least 20 of them, hoping to freeze my opponent's entire fleet, but it turned out that my illuminators just killed the enemy faster than they could target. What's the point?

How long does it take a subjugator to freeze something? And why does it prioritize perserverance over freezing? These units would be great if only aquisition and targeting was alot faster. I think subvertors are ridiculously superior to subjugators just by virtue of not spending several minutes acquiring and not acquiring targets.

You don't use them against illums, you use them against other support nad CH's.

For everyoen subjugator you have you can disable an enemy ship.. and hc's cost much more than them and are double the supply. Pretty much a no-brainer there, though their survivibility is low so what you don't disable can kill them fast.

Their heal is also better than hoshinko's, but it's channeling.

I see that your argument was that your illuminators just killed everything super fast anyway, so why bother? The answer is that they disable enemy heavy cruisers and heal your own.

They are not really meant to be paired with huge illuminator fleets.
