Help please! CD key is for some reason not working for me

Yes well i am having technical issues with my cd key, everytime i put it in it says its invalid... i see the code in the box and then under it it says "PC SINS SOLAR CODE STKR" i put in the code, and ive tried about 500 different ways, and every time it says its detecting a wrong version, im really anxious to try the multiplayer and i dont know why it wont let me!!!!

Have you updated your Sins to 1.04?

I contacted them, and the only thing it accomplished was a confusing message that the directions i followed lead me in more of a goose chase with more useless downloads? I have to manually update my cd key because you were idiotic enough to create the problem in the first place? I'm fine doing this until i get an obviously automated message with no clear sign of help whatsoever, if you guys are in for losing customers, keep it up.

Download StarDock central, click on the top Tools > Register Products. Then click on the left side navigation My Games, and select Sins from the drop down list. Type in your registration number and your e-mail and click Update. Then go to the left navigation and select Internet. Click Refresh XML Data. Then uninstall and reinstall StarDock Central.

Support did not create this problem, but they certainly can help you fix it if you calm down. If the steps above do not work than contact support again and try not to have the same crappy attitude you have here. Being polite can actually get you much better results than throwing a temper tantrum.

well. thanks for the idea of being calm but im not rich 50 dollars makes a lot of difference and ty for the help but when i time in that it only lets me register, not "Update" dunno what to do

I had forgotten the name of the button. On Impulse its update. The register button is correct. Hit that button after you type in the info and continue from there.

The reason I ask you be patient is that 1) All of these steps came from support where I had the same problem 2) Most companies would never tell you this much they would just tell you to return the game at the store

Stardock is doing much more than you would usually see and you should appreciate that. They did not cause this problem and frankly if they wanted to they could just tell you to go return the game. You should be happy they actually take the time to offer the support that they do
