Galaxy Creation - Maps not appearing in list - V1.04

Heya All

trying to create a 3v3 multiplayer map, map creation goes fine, but the map never appears in the multiplayer map selection list

Have tried in Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy
and Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy

Map doesnt appear in either

i am running version 1.04
when i open an ingame map with Galaxy Forge it comes up all black, nothing else

I'm confused, tried everything i can think of,
Created a custom map ingame, then editted it, saved it, still doesnt appear in map list
