saved games don't work on another computer

When I save a game on computer A, and then transfer the saved game file to the appropriate location on computer B, after I fire up Sins on computer B and look for saved games, the file will show up... but then when I try to load it, Sins just crashes and makes a dump file. Is there any way to be able to resume a game I was playing on one computer on another computer?

Are you sure that both computers are at the same Sins version number? This will happen in 1.04 if you try to load a game saved under version 1.03.

Yes, the computers are both 1.04.

You also need to make sure you take the custom ship and race configuration files.
