Need help with Graphic Settings

I bought this game last week, played for 3 days with no problem at all. Then I got the hairbrained idea to "tweek" my graphic card setting to get better graphics in game. Now I cannot play the game without it locking up, I've tried to re-adjust my settings but the best I can seem to do is to get the game to only lockup "occasionally", wheras before it never locked up or slowed down. Below are my PC specs, can someone help?

Pentium 4 3.4 Ghz

1.00 GB RAM

NVidia GeForce 6600

No kidding: reinstall your vid drivers.

Try reinstalling the game and if possible reseting the graphics card to its default factory setting

Set the graphics driver quality to performance too low can be unreliable with some games.
