how do i use a mod

can someone please tell me how to use a mod my game is updated to 1.04 ive dowloaded a few mods but they dont appear in the mod section could someone please tell me WORD FOR WORD how to make a mod work i have a feeling ill need to re download them. Oh and if theres something on the site that tells me how to use a mod please post a LINK

OK, this is how you do it:
1) Download the mod
2) Un-rar (Extract) the mod (its kinda like winzip, if you need the program, just google winrar an download and install the program)
3) Move the entire folder to your sins mod folder in your local folder
If you are using vista, what you do is:
1) Go to Computer
2) Double click on your hard drive
3) Double click Users
4) Double click your Username
5) Double click Appdata
6) Double click Local
7) Double click Ironclad Games
8) Double click SoaSE
9) Double click Mods
10) Move the folder containing the mod into mods

Yeah and i went to the Winrar website and apparently winrar costs money so i guess thats out :p

no wait i checked i have it so where is the sins mod folder located where all the sins stuff is downloaded?
