game version issues?

i just started playing sins AGAIN after about a month. i updated the game and everything yet.. no one can join my games on ironclade, and i can't join theirs either. i even re-installed te game. HELP!

Read The Monk's guide, which will help you make sure that TCP ports 6000 and 6112 are being forwarded to your PC. That's the cause of most people's issues.

I can't speak for Lifelock, but a couple hours ago someone tried to join a game I was hosting and received an error saying that he had a newer version that was incompatible with my version.

I'm on version 1.04 and I haven't received that error when trying to join anyone else. I remember that when the 1.04 patch was originally released, for an hour or two a version that was missing a file was circulating. Could some of those still be around and might that be the problem?
