Galaxy Forge problem. am i supposed to have TEXTURES too?!

Why is it that in the official guid. it shows that the planets and suns have textures. but in my galaxy forge (that i just downloaded yesterday 5/7/2008) my planets and suns dont have textures, they just show up as filled circles. My sun shows up as a yellow circle. and everything else EVERYTHING shows up as gray circle. even pirate bases, astroids, wormholes shows up as gray filled circles. this makes things very hard on me to tell what is what when building a big map.

My Galaxy Forge: Sun(yellow) Planets.. astroids, ect. 1 Pirate. ALL GRAY!!

Did you somehow extract the exe for galaxy forge into a directory and not extract the icons subdirectory as well?

i din't do what you said. i just ran the Galaxy forge installer. and ran the program. thats all.

So far as I know there isn't a galaxy forge installer. You have to unzip all the files into a folder.

Try and unzip it again, and make sure the icons folder is extracted too.
