Are the Vasari overpowered?

I admit I'm quite new to the game but after playing several rounds, I am convinced that The Returning Armada (RA) and Phase stabilizer capabilities set this race far and above the others, especially on large maps.  I've seen posts on the RA so this seems to be something on people's minds.

For balance issues, I would be for changing/removing the RA, and allowing the other races the vast conveniece of phase stabilizer structures as well.  However I'm not sure how this would work as far as balancing, perhaps the vasari would have to be given some other end-game thing.

Typically, most people are concerned with the "overpoweredness" of the Advent late game. I believe RA was nerfed already and while still powerful, is not game breaking powerful.

If you are new to the game, wait until you fight an Advent fleet played by a half decent player, that is probably the "toughest" challenge atm.

RA hasn't really been nerfed. It's still just as overpowered as it was before. People are complaining about Advent because they now have quite easily the strongest long range unit in the game.

RA is especially OP in 2v2 or 3v3 games where one guy tech rushes to RA and the other players feed him cash. With this strategy, I managed to get RA up in 15 minutes - about the amount of time they took to get a couple heavy cruisers/small fleet of illums. Yeah we won.

with the advent the problems the guardians cos the 33% shaired is very very high and makes the fleet very tough also the guardians are hard to kill so its hard.
if you want to test it fight a hard advent ai.

ps the vasari are balance cos of there weak eco use the pirate to your advantage as the TEC and see.

Haven't played Sins in a month.. with the scout cheese, guardian cheese, and subverter cheese strategies, the game isn't quite as fun as it was before :(

Vasary has some overpowered skills just like advent. Last week saw a friend of mine kill my fleet, 40 LRM, 20 Hoshikos, 20 HC, 10 Command, in 2 seconds flat. Only my 3 caps survived.
