Getting a defeat screen when load galaxy forge maps

I make a map in galaxy forge. Save it in galaxy folder. Go into game. When i play the map i get the defeat screen.  (:(  Im using 7 deadly sins mod and i dled a version of galaxy forge that includes all the new planets...

Any help would be awesome as i really would like to be able to create maps that i can actually play...

Be sure to put your custom map in the Sins install path Galaxy folder. GF made maps should not go into your user path.

It doesnt show up in game if its not in the user path...doesnt matter tho...i put it in both...
i even got rid of the sinsplus extras and used the vanilla gf...still get the defeat screen...  (:(

Put them in the Sins install path Galaxy folder as Siolas said, since that's the proper place for them. To get them to show up in-game, open them up in Notepad and change versionNumber to 1. This happens with old maps (pre-1.03), newer maps don't have this problem.

Oh, I don't think it shows up in the "Custom" section, it should be mixed in with all the others.

i think i found the problem. even though i save in the install path galaxy folder. its properties say the path is the users path galaxy folder. i dont understand this or how to change but it seems like this maybe why....?....the other maps(ones that come with game) are in the same folder but their properties say their path is in the install path galaxy folder....

If you are creating your own maps in GF, there is an option labeled "Is Browsable". This needs to be set to "TRUE". You can find the option within GF or you can open the .galaxy file in notepad( the line looks like this: isBrowsable). Again, make sure you save the file in your Sins install galaxy folder.

Alright. Just checking.  :)  Well, this has me stumped. I'm not sure why your file path is still showing up in your users if the the file was saved in the install directory. The only thing I can suggest is try saving your map in the install folder through GF and delete the one in your users folder. Hope this works, 'cause I'm outta ideas! :D

I tried that....
Dont know if this sheds any more light but...when i open up my install path galaxy folder i have to click 'view compatibility files' to see the maps i made in GF...
