Graphics Glitch

Alright, this is beginning to get annoying.

I'll be in the middle of a game, or even in the options menu, when my sound and graphics stutter, and then the background and some textures goes all wonky. And example:






Doesn't matter if I have bloom on or off, or what resolution I'm running at.


I'm not sure if this is the Nvidia bug people keep talking about, because it doesn't crash the game, just makes it go wonky.

Wow...full on texture corruption. I wonder if there's something wrong with your video card? Maybe overheating? Do you get wonky stuff with any other 3D games after playing for awhile?

Wow that looks scary! what kind of temperatures are you getting with your 8800gt? the fan defaults to 29% on newer ones try putting it to 100% with ntune, what kind of motherboard are you running? might want to update bios to be sure, also are you running a sound card some older sound cards can screw around with your graphics if they overheat.and is your q6600 oc'ed? they run pretty hot on stock cooling
