Clans are never very effect without some sort of base of operations to coordinate all the necessary things and how-to's that clans must face..
That never happens unless it's a real, die-hard clan willing to create/pay/uphold/maintain a website.
I'd love to join a clan, btw.. or even create one. It's just difficult to handle more than so many people at once, expecially concerning rank etc.
