Galaxy Forge help please - Pulling Teeth

Ok. Forge help please...
I opened a galaxy file that I knew I could access in game using Galaxy Forge. I saved it as galaxyname 2.galaxy (galaxyname.galaxy was one that I downloaded from the site and played) Since it is an exact duplicate it should show up in the map list. Well, it doesn't. I don't know what to do!

I tried using the files from the galaxy forge base download, then I used the files from the Complete forge tools, then tried the 1.04 update file. I have 3 folders with 3 galaxy forge programs and none of them are working to create a file to use in game.

Any ideas?

If you open your map in notepad, is the version at the top 0 or 1? It needs to be 1 for the latest version of the game to see it.
