I can't connect to ironclad online

1. Please make sure you have the latest game version (1.05). If not, you can update your game from the main menu.

2. Please check the "stickies" relating in the "Technical" forum. There is a ton of information in this forum relating to issues such as yours.

3. Download, read/follow the steps in my guide (Networking and SINS) which can be found at the very bottom of the "Technical FAQ" (not the regular FAQ) or linked-to from my stickied thread in the "Technical" forum.


If you're at a university dorm where you don't have physical access/control over upstream routers/firewalls and you can't implement the instructions in my guide, you may have to wait for game patch 1.1 (which will give the game some optional netcode to help aleviate some connection issues).

One thing I forgot to add in my reply to the OP was....


If you've just recently updated to 1.05 and had 1.04 in your firewall "exceptions" list you'll have to (for some firewall software) re-do the exception for the 1.05 .exe

i had 1.05 already installed. since yesterday i cant login anymore

i played a game this morning and tried to log on again later and I got the "disconnected from ironclad online" message. nothing changed as far as im aware of and i can't find any problem with my firewall or router, actually turned off my firewall. is ironclad temporarily down maybe? is there a way to check?

i still cant login?

how do i cantact technical stuff?

Also make sure that a firewall pop-up hasn't shown up in the background....try alt-tabbing to see, or running the game in "windowed" mode at least untill you've dealt with any firewall popups.

i am having the same problem however I was able to get on this morning, and now I can't...What gives?

Ive tryed ot get mien to work same prob. tryed the impulse thing and that also wont work. it is ticking me off come on its my birthday so FIX IT! *lol i made a fenny*

ok first of all, jecjoker, use real sentences, no one can understand you.

Second, i played yesterday fine, and today i just started having this problem. its not my end, its something with the system or the server.

I took the server down earlier but its back up now. Give it a shot.

I cannot even download this crappy impulse stuff, it tells me there is a problem with my firewall or connection. I turned off all firewalls and no prob with connection. What the hell is going on? Guess it's time to get COD 5 and forget this game that was borderline playable in the first place.

I just purchased the game and installed the latest patch and get this error as well

i cant connect to ICO, and ive been in it b4.i have the latest update, so what gives?

I just solved a part of my inquery as to getting the auto-disconnected sign.

I downloaded impulse and am updating as of now...

I'm from the age of technology, and things pile unto each other to get other things working, but to keep on smiling I'm going to have to keep on learning. (like spotting the impulse link when it tells me i can't download the update straight from stardock.com... and I have to use impulse to do it)
