Free Bonus Theme

I bought the retail version of the game. It tells me in the box to go to (https://store.stardock.com/redemption/walmart) and use my serial number to download the free bonus theme. Can't get it to take me there. Is that the correct spelling? https? (2) //?

When you're installing the game, there should be a prompt asking where you bought the game, IIRC. If you select Walmart on that page of the install, it should forward you to the appropriate page.

I am going on seventy and I am not what the younger generation calls a "Geek". It's a shame that you can't go to the site by typing it's location Must I delete the game and then reintall it to get it to go to the free bonus Theme site?

If you already installed, then if you go to the update page, does it show a MyColors download? If so, you should be able to just do that.

I went to updates, entered my e-mail address and the pc sins solar code stkr that is in my walmart retail box. Did it accept the code? Why of course not! That's after double checking the code with and with out the dashes. This game goes on the shelf until I can get a professional geek to work the damn thing out.

The solution is simple, go to your account, then click on registration tab, is going to show the serial number of your game, copy it and paste it in my colors software. and begins to download the theme Sins of Solar Empire.

Simple Solution,

go to,

www.alienware.com

Download the Alienware Theme Manager (ALienGUIse) That program is actually called MY COLORS

Then in impuse go to updates, and Sins of a Solar Empire Theme Should be there

Download it.

Open My Colors, Select Sins of a Solar Empire Theme.

Press Apply, and there you have it.

Or you could just get MyColors from Stardock's site, register your Sins serial with it and it should catch the theme :P
