newbie question: placing orpital structures

I no longer can control where I place orbital structures, it does it automatically. What did I do!!!!

Just to the left of the structure menu is a little infinity symbol. Click on it to turn off auto place or click again to turn it on.

You turned on auto placement - probably clicked a key trying to chat or similar
It is the top right button on the bottom dashboard.

You didn't mouse over the whole UI and read the tooltips before you got started.
