How do the Vasari Phase Stabalizing Nodes work!?

Ok...I'm a new player...but I can do just about anything already...but the Phase Stabalizer Node is confusing.

I built three of the stupid things...and I can't work them...can someone help!? Did I place them wrong? I could use some help!

They simply create new phase lanes between any planets that have them. So if you have two distant planets in the same system, and both have stabilizers, when you send ships from one to the other they'll go there directly instead of hopping past other planets.

The only thing I have to add to kryo's post, is that the pathing AI is not smart enough to plot multi-jump courses that include phase sabalizers. I.E:

a-----b------c-------d

say you are at planet A and want to get to planet D. Planet B and D have stabilizers, but A does not. If you just tell your fleet to move from A to D. They will jump to b, jump to c, jump to d. In order to jump directly from b to d, you must jump the fleet to b, and then tell them to jump to d upon their arrival. It was because of this fact that I also thought they didn't work at first.

He-he figured this out yesterday myself.

Once you build the nodes you jump like between star systems or as the Novalith Cannon shoots rounds.

These nodes are also outlets to your Returning Armada tech and you get freebie shipses up to your fleet capacity.
