Horrible Customer Service

I recently reinstalled Vista on my machine. Apparently my serial number no longer works, after typing and retyping it over and over in a horrible service UI that not only doesn't provide dashes, or tell you if they are needed, or capitals, or anything else, but gives ZERO information on what is wrong.

And so that customer service that you never called is horrible because of this?

This has nothing to do with customer service.

What is up with people today? Seriously... send a 30 second email to support or make a 30 second post to this forum to complain.

One gets you help so you can play the game... The other makes you you look... well like you should be more worried about what color finger paint to use and when nap time is. I hear today's snack is raisins... you might want to skip it.

For petes sake, there have to be a hundred of these posts in here.

Stardock isn't perfect, but as far as companies go, they're pretty decent. They make everything available to you, and will help with any problem you might have provided you treat them like the people they are.

I can't imagine what it's like to fire up the forums and see these posts over and over again... trying to maintain a good attitude and a level of caring.

If it's getting to me, it has to be getting to them...

There is info in all the FAQs about what to do if you change computers or OS's. Perhaps that's a good place to start your quest for intelligence.

Translation: Waaaaaaaah.

On a more serious note, you would be best off sending an email to [email protected] (that is the right email off memory) to get help on your issue. They (on the contrary of your poorly chosen thread name) provide very good customer service and I'm sure they will sort your issue out with you.
