Registering the Serial Number

    While I am in game on the main menu, I click on the "Get Updates" button or something like that.  It closes the game and takes me to a screen on this website.  It says "You have not registered a game on this account etc. etc.  Please fill out the form below and you may download the updates upon sucessful registration."

So I enter in the serial number, including the "-" and double check to make sure it is correct.  Then I press the "Register" button.  Nothing happens, it reloads the same exact page.  No matter how many times I click "Register" it just brings me back to the same page.  I am logged in.

How do I fix this?

Use Stardock Central and register your game, then you can get the updates right there in SDC.

Once i download this what do i do with it because i am having the same problem and i want to get updates on sins.

Once you've downloaded stardock or impulse, you need to install it, run it, register your game (make sure you've got the correct game selected) to your account and then download the updates....

Well, Monk. I tried all of the above and still no joy. What's Plan C for this well-tested system that I paid $40 for? If I wanted to have this much fun, I would redo my tax returns.

Here's a link to the Technical forum posting on this issue. I've got a short step-by-step about half way down the page. From a support post on one of the threads it seems there are some people that this route still won't work with, but with many it has.
