Picture does not fit screen

When I change the resolution from the default to 1440X900 it changes and there is about 3 cm empty space on each side of my monitor. There's also about 2 cm of extra vertical stuff being displayed. Anyone know what's happening here?

BTW- There is no blank space at default resolution.

Is 1440x900 your display's native resolution? If so, it's probably a refresh rate issue.

Yeah it was refresh rate. Never seen that happen because of refresh rate though.
