Where can I find the "How to " posts?

I'm new and still trying to learn the game, but I have a hard time finding the information I need.  For instance how do wormholes work and what are the rules from going to one wormhole to the other.  I have a wormhole by my home plantet and can go to a nearby planet which I colonized but I can not jump to another wormhole.  I know it can be done because other scouts go thru mine.  Also, how does the Novalith work.  Can you direct the weapon to a specific target? The pinned have been a great help but do not cover a lot of "how to" subjects.

To use wormholes, you need to research wormhole technology. Once you have that, you just send your ships to the center of it and they'll pop out the other side.

The Novalith can be targeted on any enemy planet, but beware if the planet is in another system, it can take a *very* long time to hit it. So long that you might get impatient and invade it first, only to nuke yourself when the shot hits :)

Also please explain how to target a specific planet. Thanks for you help.

Also, how do you construct a metal / crystal extractor on a asteriod belt that states the mineral can be captured?

You can only travel from a wormhole to the one it's connected to, not between any two on the map. Intersystem travel is generally done between the stars once you've researched long range jumps. Just go to your sun, then you can jump to a nearby star from there. Note some maps use intersystem wormholes and have no way to access the sun.

These can be captured using the TEC/Advent's colony ships, or the Vasari's scouts.

Thanks, thats what I love about this game, some things I can figure out and the others I can get help here. I was having problems with the Novalith because I had it on auto-cast, something simple but wrong. I had not figured out the wormhole jump, and thanks for that.
