Hey,
 I just got Sins yesterday, and so far I'm loving it.  I played a full medium and small map game each yesterday, and today I started my first Huge map, Aerelian Sector.
The problem is, I've conquered my original star system, but I cannot find a wormhole to let me travel to my neighbors'.  However, my enemies can travel to my star system and invade, which is rather infuriating.  I have researched the necessary tech (as Advent), but can not find a single wormhole.  Is there something I forgot to do?

Playing with 7 sins mod.
2gb DDR2 RAM
ATI Radeon 1800XT GPU
Pentium 3.6Ghz CPU, 1core

Note:
Another, related thing happened.  I used an ability to capture an opponant's frigate, while it was en route to another system.  After it was mine it kept setting course to the supposed wormhole, but when it reached its destination it did not jump, just returned to the fleet after circling a point of nothing for a while.
