Empire Tree Scrolling

When I select a planet in the Gameplay Area the Empire Tree scrolls so that the selected planet is visible within the tree.

This feature works perfect if the selected planet is located higher in the Empire Tree than what is currently being displayed in the tree. The selected planet info scrolls down to the top of the display screen.

If the selected planet is located lower in the Empire Tree than what is currently being displayed in the tree it is scrolled to the bottom of the display screen and is barely visible above the Report Dialogs display. I must then manually scroll the tree up in order to see/use anything for the selected planet.
