ohh and now that i think of it it would be awsome to add ship customization like different looking parts or ship ,models, oh and also being able to name ships and seeing the name!

You can already rename capital ships (select one and press y or click on the arrow button above the little screen in the center of the lower panel).

As for crawling around the individual units, I think that would be too taxing for most of the gaming systems running this game.

Although I do admin, the only other game I've seen do something similar is TA Spring.

Whats TA? but anyway look at all you can do in age of conan its graphicly demanding, and has a but load of features, but when i say be in the ship i dont mean like 10 different rooms or whatever just like 3 or 4 it should'ent be that bad.....and plus computers are getting better :)

Being on a single ship like your talking doesn't really even fall in line with what the focus of the game is, however cool it would be to stand on the bridge and watch the battle unfold.

I could see them adding some ship modding maybe even if its only cosmetic. They have done it before in galciv2 and Stardock has always been about making their products open to play around with. It's probably just a matter of time until they do something along those lines.

you raise an interesting concept.

a sim level experience in the sins world. maybe youre a fighter pilot or frigate captin. however, i wouldnt put it in sins. i would create a spin off game. maybe bundle the two together for a special edition.
