7 DS - Removing the new graphics

Is there a way to do this? Its not that i dont think its well done, there is just a few bugs with it that annoys my eye all the time. I love the rest of the mod tho.

(the problem is that all the none beam attacks doesn't actually hit the target when the target is moving... it just kills me to look at, call me perfectionist if you like :P)

Anybody??? I have tried to download the graphic mod alone and delete all the files with the same names from the 7 DS, to no avail

If you want the effects removed, and go back to the regular Sins effects, go into the 7DS 1.3d mod folder, go into the "particle effects" folder, and delete all the files except ones that reference the Black Hole and Wormholes. That should fix it.

If you delete everything, you will mess up the BH and the Worm Holes.

That's weird, the game should have reverted back to the old graphics, since the files for the new graphics are now gone...

Ok, delete the PIPELINE EFFECT folder, and see if that brings you back to normal.

deleted the Pipeline Effect folder, and it didn't changed anything... This is a resilient stuff you have made xD

if you deleted the effects folder, then it shouldn't have shown the effects. you must be deleting it from the wrong mod, but since your saying your using 1.3d, not the patch.... did you enable and then disable 7DS? make sure it loads on start-up. Don't remove things from the game info folder, because that's where the ship information is. if you delete that, you won't have any capital ships to use.

I might have forgotten to disable the the mod before deleting the stuff, but I have disabled and enabled it many times since

I think you need to be more specific about what effects you want removed.

dont forget that all ships have SHIELDS which may make it look like it is missing when it is not. also the lower the shield, aparently the lower the graphics for it (i mod this game more than i actually play it and its been a LONG time since i looked at the default game, that and i haven't bothered with this mod in particular)
