Portal Server (down?)

Can't connect to the portal server.

Hey folks, I've now been trying to connect to the portal server for like 3 hours and could't get in one second.
Last night it worked perfectly and now there are 3 other people on teamspeak with me who can't get in eighter.
Could we get some information on the portal?
Is the server down for maintenance?
Did something break?
What's wrong? Why can't we connect?
