Thoughts from an impatient fan...

I am dissapointed to see patch 1.1 taking so long.   I realize that the release of Impulse was a major project for the company, but it is of little interest to me or most SOASE players.

I also realize that the European release was a priority and I hope that the influx of new players drives more rapid work on Sins again.

Sins appears to be stagnating...

Be patient. It's only been a few months.

Isn't it stardock who is responsible for Impulse?
Ironclad is making the game and patches not stardock.

At least this guy took time with his post.

The longer a patch takes the more stuff it changes and hopefully the higher the quality. By asking for it sooner, you are risking getting an unfinished product that will only have to be patched again in order to fix things it may have broken, and thus wasted time and effort.

That's a bit harsh to say. His post wasn't rude and he was just expressing a concern.

But I, too, have been a bit curious as to when we will hear more about the new patch. I'm fine with being patient, however.

For me its not that Sins is losing interest , but other games are gaining interest.

By the time 1.1 comes out , Sins might be yesterdays game because Gc2:Twilight of the Arnor is growing on me very fast.

Pretty much. The only reason I'm still looking at Sins at all right now is because no other worthwhile game (in the RTS category specifically) has released in months.
