Flickering Mouse Cursor

Extreme Annoyance

During Sins of a Solar Empire, the mouse cursor constantly flickers whenever I move the mouse, and completely disappears when I'm not moving it. I've managed to fix this problem in most of my other games by unchecking the option that says "Enable Hardware Mouse", but I can't find that option in this game. Any help?

By the way, my video drivers are all up to date, and I've tried installing new mouse drivers but that didn't fix anything.

I had that problem in an older game. I eventually found that it was because I never bothered to turn off the mouse pointer trails option in Windows. Never happened again.

I have pointer trails (and pointer shadow) disabled anyways. As I said before, it fixed it when i disabled the option "Enable Hardware Mouse" in all my other games. Is there an option like this in Sins, or another way to fix the mouse? It's an "HID-compliant mouse", or an optical mouse.

I had The same problem until i updated the video driver. Before that i used to change the size of the window :
1. Choose a new size
2. The window confirmation appears. Click on cancel.
