converter doesn't recognize scaling?

or something like that...

I got this model of a fighter that my friend made. Only he made it way too large and off center. So I centered it and then scaled it down to the size I needed. I exported it into xsi and then ran it through the converter. I looked at it ingame and it looked the same as it was in the obj (it was the size of a capital ship...)! I checked the xsi because I thought I made some noobish error. Nope. Everything was fine. It still isn't working though. Anyone know what to do?

It would help me out a lot because I already have good number of models but this problem is still plaguing them.

I get the feeling not many people understand this, but did you try making it really really big and see if that does anything?

You Do have to scale the polygons in XSI not the whole object

you just need to highlight the model like you would if you were going to edit something then click on transform along the right of the screen and then freeze all transforms, if you have any nulls et up do not select them while doing this as it will mess them up.

good luck!
