Some weird things going on

Okay I'm playing a game as Advent against a Advent and a Vasari AI. About midgame one of my fleets get attacked, no big deal my forces handle the attacker and I keep on. Then I notice that this fleet has all the ships showing as being under attack in the empire tree ( the icon's are all flashing red). So i go to see what is going on. There are no attacking forces in the gravity well and evrything else appears normal. Then when I hover over the ships, they all show that they are taking 1.5 dps. In addition they are autocasting shield regen and they are all using up antimatter. Can anyone explain to me what is going on.

I think I may have the answer, albeit it is a long shot.

First, I'm going to guess the AI was advent, and had Destras. With the passive buff Destra's deal 1.5dps over time (iirc). Also, should you have whichever of the capital ships with the domination ability, you could have captured a Destra. I've heard that sometimes the buffs/debuffs are not properly rewritten when ships are captured with domination, as such it may have captured a Destra, but even though you had the Destra you still were affected by the passive damage buff despite it being your own ship.

If this isn't the case, then I haven't the faintest idea.

And if Legolan was right, I believe that's being fixed in 1.1.

I've encountered the same kind of thing before.
