Star Types I need help

Star Types, I need help. I am shure this has been covered somewhere but with thousands of posts and a no exact match search engein I just cant find what I am looking for.   seems like I read somewhere that the diferent stars " yellow , red , green , and blue  all have difrent bonuses for capital ships. is there any truth to this or was it miss info?

Thye all seem to have the same abilty so I doubt thats true.

If your wondering the ability is "AbilitySolarRegeneration" (in GameInfo refrence files).

right, they all have the same ability so no they don't they all increase the rate of antimatter by 2.5...Though I think Danman is working on a new type that will actually increase it by more. I think it has to do with the Neutron star he's made...

I am currently working on making different abilities for all the different stars, as well as the new Neutron star..

Ah I see, after reading about the ability I noticed some of the create star settings in the GalaxyForge map moder were "random non Green Star" so this really got me to thinking that there may be a difrence.

well thanx for the clerification and all the new info I'm still learning all of my options with this great map maker.

Yah, but in reality, no star is green... There are a few purple ones though...

Also you could do it, just change the buff entity for solar radiation to something like "BlueSolarRadiation" which regenerates 3.5 lets say.

So I guess to answer your question, no, all stars in the standard game regenerate at 2.5, but it is possible to do other things...
