have a problem with placing buildings

bought the game love it been playing for a little bit with no problems but now when i come to place a building insted of letting me choose where it gose it just places it for me can anyone help

there is a button somewhere on your HUD that says autoplace structres. i think its near the top but im not sure. I hope that helped.

It's the infinity symbol right next to the orders panel. The hotkey is K.
