hi i am a new modder i need some help with where should i place the edited files for the game [already copy and pasted all of the game files....

You'll want to make your own folder under the below mods folder, with the same structure as the game's own folders (GameInfo, Meshes, etc). You should then have it as an option in the game.


Vista:
C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods

XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods

Please note that some of these directories are hidden by default. To unhide them, go to Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View and set yourself to view hidden files and folders.

Also make sure you have updated your game from v1.0

And now that you have hidden folders unhidden, make sure you don't touch anything! Well, anything you don't know how to work with. Just a word of advice.
