Cant locate mod folder

I recently found a mod i would like to play, but i cant seem to locate my mod folder. For some reason i dont have an ironclad folder in app data or program files. I have the view hidden folders option checked and its still not there (i looked everywhere). Is there anything else i can do?

Quote kryo from a different topic, but it's the same path.

Vista:
C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\

XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\

Please note that some of these directories are hidden by default. To unhide them, go to Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View and set yourself to view hidden files and folders.

Like i said it's not there. I don't have an Ironclad games folder in app data even when i am viewing hidden folders.

Sounds like you're using Vista.
First, make sure SoaSE is patched.
Second, make sure you're looking in AppData\Local\Ironclad Games.
Third, try doing a search for it.

You have at least started the game on the machine your using currently? I dunno if it'd effect anything, though.
If all else fails, you may want to try a reinstall.

The worst part is that my Vista search is not finding it even though it's indexed...
