Third Intro Movie Crash

When I start the game, the first two (Stardock, Ironclad) movies play fine and can be skipped. However, when I try to skip the third movie the mouse pointer appears and then my computer freezes and needs a hard reboot! Any ideas? Thanks AMD Athlon XP 3200 Radeon X850XT XP SP3

If I turn off the intro movies then my monitor constantly clicks (if you know what I mean, if you change from one resolution to another)... and then a VPU crash error!

I'm scared!

I completely understand what you are going through!!! I have the exact same problem as you, just different OS. If you get a resolution, please tell me

Make sure Sins and your drivers are up to date. Go to the video card website (ATI in this case) for the latest drivers.

bollerboller, read my posts where "THE MAN" the monk gives me advise as what to try.
I did exactly as he said and was playing the game in no time. Wish he wouldn't told me that sooner, wasted soooo much time trying to get it to work.

All I can say is I wish I had read your thread sooner... :) 

This isn't the only forum I help out on, and I'm hard-pressed trying to read all of the tech-support threads.

I'm sure this awesome game was worth the wait though wasn't it?  :D
