Your main strategy upon meeting two enemy capital ships

What would your main strategy be if you had two capital ships vs two enemy ones?

We've all had those moments when we have a Capital ship or two and meet the same number of enemy capital ships (Hopefully at least).

If you could pick two Capital ships from one faction, what would they be?

Make up two enemy capital ships, Advent or Vasari.

Describe your strategy to beat the enemy capitals with sustaining minimal damage to both ships.

1. A Kol Battleship and a Sova Carrier

2. Two Skiranta Carriers

3. I would move my Kol into position to the side of one of the Skirantas. I would slip my Sova unnoticed by them. Then I would launch two bomber squadrons to hit one of the skirantas. Once that's down, I'll use both ships to converge and destroy the remaining Skiranta.

The most infamous combination of enemy caps online I think would be the Advent Progenitor Mothership combined with the Halcyon Carrier Capital Ship. This is the classic capital ship composition of an Illuminator spam. The mothership was used to colonize and then for battle either supports with Malice or Shield regen. The Halcyon is chosen because it will make the ships shoot faster.

So....me? Assuming I'm not Advent myself...

1. Evacuator and a Kortul Devestator

2. Mothership and Halcyon

3. Send the Devestator with antimatter disruption to kill some of the mothership's antimatter supply. Send the space Egg to shoot the mothership with a nanite bomb and then target it with ALL the assailants I have. The higher my phase missile upgrade the better.

Once the mothership is dead, do the same with the Halcyon. Then pick apart the remaining fleet. Occassionaly shoot a nanite bomb at the Illums to take one out.

Yeah the Space Egg of Doom and the Kortul is such a nice combination. Power Surge+Disruptive Strikes+Nanite Bomb= LOL your Cap ship is gonna die.

for ships that turn and shoot form their starboard or port, the position it between the two enemy ships so that it can use it's secondary guns on the other side.

Botho of those I'd fight the same way.Number one I take out the Kol number two focus fire on which ever carrier looked least likely to reach the edge of the gravity well if they try and escape.

I love Skiranta's, but not until I have 3 or more ships. First two for me are a whale and a Desolator. The Desolator is really nice to support early intrusions into the disgusting warmblooded aliens we've found in this area of the galaxy, and it's got almost as much firepower as a Kurtul.

Generally whale, desolator, two siranta's, and a Kortul. Then I play it by ear.
