Its Thursday and I still can't download my beta!  I cry bug -- BUG!  I found a bug!

Well, its Thursday on the East Coast where SD is... maybe I should wait until midnight here?  Yeah, that'll work!  SD won't let me down, I just know they live night and day to give me what I want, and that is BETA RIGHT NOW!

lol. No. Writing in the morning, Math in the evening. Just not enough time in between to do both homework and Sins. And with the shortened Summer term, I can't afford to miss 'em.
Seeing as how I'm practically addicted to Sins, it's kinda frustrating.

Never really left, pretty much check up on these forums daily, but yeah, I don't exactly post much/hop on IRC these days. Thesis and job hunting (finally at an end, woo!) really ensure that.

Well, the Sins IRC is pretty dead.. I still idle there, but usually nobody says a word between when I log on and off :P All the action migrated to the Demigod channel. And by action I mean mainly eets and his shenanigans.

How long has the beta download taken for everyone? I can't even tell if mine has started... It still says 'Processing, may take several minutes.'

Impulse is doing a file compare against the server and what's on your PC.  This can take quite a bit of time given the speed of your system and what's happening on the server (which is maxed right now).  It may be faster to uninstall Sins and install fresh since that will come off the uber-fast server.

Mostly digging around the bug reports. The TEC's bombers got a new mesh, and the Advent's fighters and bombers are no longer chrome and have a new mesh also. It's rather hard to capture a good screeny of an explosion, but I'll try.

Eh, I edited the post but only added the link :p Can't really good an explosion shot since you need to see the whole animation to get an idea.. but basically, it's bigger and more "burning fireball"ish, and lasts longer.

Watching a replay atm, so no more screenshots. Most of the ships aren't changed, though.

They didn't set a hard deadline. There aren't that many bugs that popped out so far and Alloy seems to work fine, so with luck it won't be too long. The initial projection was 1-2 months, but I seriously doubt we'll ever find enough wrong with it to stretch to 2 months.
