Selecting starting postions

This isn't really beta feedback but i think it should be apart of the 1.1 patch.
Please can you add the ability you select where you and the AI spawn on the map so we can really get a good 4 vs 4 going and not being all alone in another system with 3 Hard AI around you.
My idea would be, we select the map we want and go on to chose the AI, once we choose the AI we want, we see a map in a corner with circles on it (could be 8 for 4vs 4) now all we have to do is select it and the number 1 would appear, that would be the Player in the first slot then the next number would be 2 which would be the next AI down from you on the list.
